The Lasertag industry is very young and volatile. It is full of dreamers and opportunists. Whilst it can be very lucrative it is easy to fail. We have devised a set of Trading policies which reflect the needs of the industry in order to minimise failure and promote success.

• Honesty is the best policy - DarkLight make a point of being candid and up front with all potential and existing customers at all times.

• DarkLight is not a bank - We only give credit to existing customers proven worthy of credit. If you cannot finance your project yourself and your credit status does not satisfy a professional lending institution then your business is likely to be seriously at risk from the start and that is a risk we do not think you should take and that we will not take.

• We will consider doing joint ventures only with people with a proven track record that we are familiar with.

• We will be flexible on our quoted prices if the sale pioneers a new market for us.

Terms of Sale

The following is an bbreviated version of the Terms of Sale that all DarkLight customers will be asked to sign when placing their first order.

Payment - 50% with order, 40% upon collection and 10% within thirty days or upon installation, whichever happens sooner

Delivery - 4 - 8 weeks from receipt of your order and deposit

Title - Full Title to all DarkLight's products remains with DarkLight Developments Ltd until payment is received in full

Intellectual property - All intellectual property rights to all DarkLight's electronics, software and construction system/designs belong exclusively to DarkLight Developments Ltd and the customer has no rights to them 

Software License -  This is for one DarkLight Game control system operating a specific number of packs in one particular place, under the operation of one customer. Any transferal or change can only be done with the written permission of DarkLight Developments Ltd. (this is normally academic but it protects your territories)

Confidential information - All information relating to the details of the design of all DarkLight products and services which the customer or any of their staff may become privy to is confidential information belonging to DarkLight Developments Ltd

Trademarks and Trade Names - The customer may use DarkLight Trade names and Trademarks only in connection with promoting their DarkLight LaserTag facility

Artwork - The copyrights to all original artwork and music that may be supplied by DarkLight to the customer belong exclusively to DarkLight Developments Ltd and the customer may only use them in promoting or running their DarkLight facility
